Three years after the exhibitions The Concrete Utopia: Ivan Picelj and New Tendencies 1961-1973 held in 2016 in London and Lugano, this new exhibition in Milano's space intends to present the artist Ivan Picelj next to two fundamental Croatian figures of his same period: Vjenceslav Richter and Julije Knifer.

Founders of neo-constructivist and conceptual languages, they developed a deep linguistic revolution that still continues to contaminate and inspire our visual culture and to interest international collecting increasingly.

The show features paintings, sculptures and graphics selected directly from the Ivan Picelj Archive, Vjenceslav Richter Archive, MSU Zagreb and from international private collections and proposes a historical-artistic journey that emphasizes the importance of the City of Milan as a center, since the late 1950s, for exchanges between European and Ex-Jugoslavia artists.
